Reddit has gotten many things right, but the one thing in recent history they got wrong was claiming to have information about the Boston Marathon bomber last month, bringing up issues about citizen journalism, lack of multiple sources, and no one checking for the facts. Then again, I went to journalism school – journalism 101: you needed multiple sources, to fact check your work, and to get it right.
